The Dungeons

  • Gnomeregan

Gnomeregan stands as a testament to the ingenious prowess, ambitious spirit, and technological marvel that defines the gnomish race. This subterranean wonder is meticulously crafted into the rocky foothills of Dun Morogh, delving deep into the heart of the land. Serving as a beacon of gnomish brilliance, the city has been a crucial source of support for the Alliance, contributing invaluable advancements in weaponry, vehicles, and energetic troops to the dwarves, humans, and high elves.

However, the once-gleaming metal hallways of Gnomeregan now echo with the sounds of conflict. This subterranean haven has become a battleground, torn between the founding gnomes and the treacherous Sicco Thermaplugg. Despite the betrayal, the resilient gnomes are slowly reclaiming their labyrinthine city, determined to restore it to its former glory.

  • Lower Blackrock Spire

Nestled within the upper reaches of Blackrock Mountain, Blackrock Spire stands as a formidable Dark Iron fortress. This dungeon hub is intricately divided into two expansive sections, known as Lower and Upper Blackrock Spire. The lower spire is home to the Dark Horde, a coalition of orcs, ogres, and forest trolls, alongside their formidable allies—the black dragonflight.

At the helm of the Lower Blackrock Spire's malevolent forces stands the ominous black dragonspawn, Overlord Wyrmthalak. Tasked with overseeing the meticulous preparations for the impending assault against the dwarves, Wyrmthalak harbors a profound disdain for the false Horde and its brutish constituents.

As the final and formidable obstacle within the lower spire, Wyrmthalak's dark presence looms large, embodying the relentless commitment of the black dragonspawn to their draconic lord.

  • Uldaman

Nestled in the rugged Khaz Modan mountains, the colossal Uldaman, a titan-forged vault, showcases the craftsmanship of the titan keepers. Carefully crafted by the titans, it lies buried deep in the Badlands, west of the once-thriving entrance to Loch Modan. In the era preceding the Third War, Ironforge dwarves initiated Uldaman's excavation. However, fate shifted as it fell to troggs and Dark Iron dwarves, lured by an insatiable desire for earthly riches, turning the ancient site into a treasure trove.

Uldaman, fundamentally a titan-forged facility, retains an air of mystery, echoing whispers of a bygone era. The ruins beckon adventurers, archaeologists, and factions like the Explorers' League and the Reliquary. As they unearth artifacts, the city's enigmatic past unfolds, becoming a focal point for those seeking not just riches but the concealed knowledge and history within its ancient walls.

  • Stratholme

Stratholme, once the northernmost and second-most populous city in the Kingdom of Lordaeron, held historical significance as the birthplace of the Order of the Silver Hand. However, during the harrowing events of the Third War, the city faced devastation at the hands of the mad Prince Arthas. His ruthless onslaught left Stratholme in ruins, paving the way for the Scourge to claim it as their capital in Lordaeron. Today, the lingering flames of destruction continue to engulf Stratholme, a somber testament to its tragic fall into darkness.

Within the haunted corridors of this once-thriving city, the malevolent presence of Baron Rivendare looms large. As the final boss of Stratholme, Rivendare commands the undead forces, serving as a grim reminder of the city's grim fate. His dark influence adds an extra layer of dread to the already haunting atmosphere, making the confrontation with him a formidable challenge for adventurers brave enough to tread the scorched paths of Stratholme's ruined streets.
